
Technical Sales Engineer
Job Description
• Contact new or existing customers to discuss how specific products or services can meet their needs.
• Analyze customer’s product data to ensure alignment with existing manufacturing capabilities.
• Prepare sales proposals to explain product specifications.
• Develop production guidance & technical support based on customer data and process capabilities, ensuring optimal product design and efficient manufacturing.
• Evaluate the influence of various production elements on quoted prices and product feasibility, making necessary adjustments based on these insights.
• Track order production schedules with planning team to ensure on-time deliveries. Coordinate with sales, clients and production planning on order schedules to meet delivery deadlines.
• Collaborate with customers on resolving technical issues in their manufacturing data for orders, production turnaround time etc.
• Engage in cross-functional discussions to share and refine selling strategies, leveraging diverse perspectives for optimal results. Address customer concerns in key areas: cost, lead time, technical details, and overcoming production obstacles to increase the sales.
• Prepare sales presentations or proposals to explain product specifications or applications. Programming all the new products and setting up the equipment's to the required customers' specifications and bill of materials.
• Preparing and identifying the correct work centers required to manufacture customers product interpreting from the drawings and the Cad gerbers provided.
• Identify the footprints of the PCB, the correct layout, and to create a DFM(Design For Manufacturability) with help of CAD software and DFA(Design for Assembly) using electronics Gerbers, Bill of materials, Fabrication drawings and Assembly drawings.
• Using and understanding the correct Firmware to create the programming procedures and testing procedures.
• Expertise in Cad data to create the programming and testing fixtures which would be suitable for the project.
• Working on different projects and processes to perform the time study and communicate it to the customer on the total duration in manufacturing.
• Maintain Document controls, Release the production traveller with process steps along with all required notes and drawings.
Salary
$134,576.00/yr. 40 hrs/wk (7:30 AM to 4:00 PM)
